Last week, Senator Billie Sutton – a rancher, community banker, fifth-generation South Dakotan, and State Senate Minority Leader – reported record-breaking financial support for his campaign for Governor of South Dakota, raising $871,539.07 in seven months in 2017.
Today, Sutton for South Dakota announced that the Sutton campaign has outraised it’s challengers on a month-to-month basis. Sutton raised an average $118,000 per month, while other candidates raised approximately $75,000.
In addition to raising more per month, Sutton for South Dakota is maintaining funds at higher rates by spending less than a half of other candidates’ spending.
