SIOUX FALLS – Billie Sutton, candidate for South Dakota Governor, is proud to announce Mackenzie Huber has joined the campaign as Communications Director. Huber will manage all media relations and serve as point of contact for Sutton and the campaign.
Huber said, “Billie is a breath of fresh air in a political environment that’s grown stale. He is honest as they come and genuinely wants to make South Dakota a better place for all of us. It's truly an honor to be on Billie's team.”
A lifelong South Dakotan, Huber graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota where she studied political science and communications. A proud Tanager and Coyote, Huber calls Vermillion home.
Huber previously worked as an intern with the US Senate Commerce Committee in Washington DC, conducted political research in Norway, served in AmeriCorps, and staffed Senate Democrats in Pierre during the Legislative Session.
