SIOUX FALLS - Senator Billie Sutton’s campaign for South Dakota Governor went on-air today with its second television ad of the election season titled “Your Town.”
In “Your Town,” Sutton describes his hometown of Burke as being like many small towns in South Dakota where things are accomplished by working together. Sutton contrasts this small-town South Dakota mentality with the State Capitol where insiders and special interests are just looking out for themselves – resulting in scandals like EB-5 and GEAR UP.
Sutton vows to bring an end to corruption in state government stating, “That's why I passed a law banning politicians from pocketing campaign cash. As Governor, I’ll crack down on corruption with strict limits on campaign contributions.” “Because this town needs to work more like yours and mine,” Sutton affirms.
Billie Sutton is a rancher, financial professional at a small community bank, State Senator, former professional rodeo cowboy, fifth-generation South Dakotan, and candidate for Governor.
